RESUMEN:

Ability to work with a team of highly motivated electrical professionals to install, calibrate, document, and maintain plant distribution and process control systems in a way that provides reliable repairs and installations that are critical to the plant’s operating success. The successful candidate must have the ability to perform all installations and maintenance in a way that insures their own safety and the safety of plant personnel from electrical hazards.

FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES:

  • Develops, promotes, and implements effective communications with all internal customers (manufacturing, shipping, laboratory personnel).  
  • Leads, guides and train other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques
  • Installs conduit and wiring per N.E.C. and building codes for new installations of equipment, power systems, and control systems.
  • Connects, tests, and calibrates machinery, controls, and instrumentation as required by the process.
  • Tests, calibrates, diagnoses, and repairs power distribution, machine operation, and instrumentation.  Diagnose and repair process system malfunctions.
  • Develops PM electrical routines for equipment and facilities
  • Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required.
  • Maintains an efficient, clean shop and insures the work area is left in a clean and orderly condition.
  • Receives work instructions from engineering and maintenance dept. management.
  • Observes and inspects conditions of products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Complies with safety, environmental, and quality requirements established by external and internal regulations and enforce them among other electricians.
  • Adheres to general and key job related ISO quality system procedures as defined through company Quality documents.
  • Assists Engineering department when needed.
  • Experience in Fire Alarm systems
  • Monitor solar power generation system performance
  • Lays out and designs electrical circuitry.

EDUCACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA:

  • Master Electrician License
  • 2 years’ experience as a Master Electrician in an industrial plant.  
  • Experience with MCC’s
  • Demonstrated skills in the installation, calibration and testing of industrial electrical and electronic equipment, including programmable controllers and electronic drives.
  • Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and blueprints, and the use of mathematics for calculation of electrical installation and trouble shooting.
  • Experience in instrumentation desirable.
  • Must be willing and able to be trained in plants systems to improve needed knowledge.
  • Ability to use PC based software packages, Microsoft Office.
  • Master Electrician License

RESUMEN:

Responsible for customer collections, customer account maintenance, hold order decisions, collection reporting and some aspects of cash application.

  • Review customer accounts and correspond with customers through verbal and written communications regarding balances due.  Communication with corporate, business units, and mill personnel as well as freight forwarders and banks will also be necessary.
  • Compile and update credit and financial information on potential and existing accounts, assess customer credit requirements, and confer with Credit Manager on establishment of customer credit limits.
  • Reconcile customer accounts to resolve unidentified payments, unapplied  payments, on-account payments, on-account credit memos and unauthorized deductions.
  • Review orders on credit hold.  Review notes on collection calls, contact the customer and/or H & V personnel if necessary, and make the appropriate decision to release or hold orders.  Follow up with the necessary personnel to ensure timely resolution of credit hold orders.
  • Prepare reports detailing collection efforts, follow-up actions, problem accounts, statistical analysis etc.
  • Related responsibilities as assigned by the Credit Manager including performing and/or assisting in month-end closing activities, internal and external customer correspondence etc.

EDUCACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA:

  • Degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, excellent organization skills, ability to analyze financial statements and prior credit and collections experience is a must. 
  • Computer skills, including Excel spreadsheet software, Oracle experience preferred.
  • Must be a self starter with good follow-up ability.

RESUMEN:   

The HR Manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle Human Resources support to our WG Plant. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving HR functional excellence and process improvement while maintaining the balance between the needs of the employee and the needs of the company. 

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • In partnership with the Plant Manager and the North America HR Director, develop maintain and deliver on a People Strategy for the West Groton Plant that addresses workforce planning, employee engagement and plant profitability.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring at the management level.
  • Defining and implementing strategic programs and processes for human resources activities; including employment, training, employee benefits, salary administration, leave administration, workers’ compensation, employee relations, performance management and employee records.
  • Provide strategic and tactical support in decisions regarding personnel changes, including hiring, promotion, suspension, and discharge. 
  • Assure company compliance with state/ federal wage-hour, EEOC, ADA and other regulations. Provide management and employee training on various HR topics and respond to questions regarding regulations, consulting legal counsel when necessary. 
  • Ensure compliance with labor agreements and work with union representatives and supervisors to resolve questions about contract interpretation. Play a lead role in local labor negotiations in conjunction with corporate HR. 
  • Provide resources and training to the leadership team in interpreting company policies as they affect employees. Investigate policy violations in an expedient, reasonable, and confidential manner.
  • Accurate and timely maintenance of employee records in H&V’s global Workday System and other systems as required.
  • Management, motivation and development of the Plant HR Team (currently 2 direct reports).

EDUCACIÓN/EXPERIENCIA: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field. PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • 5-8 years human resources experience with specific human resources training. Manufacturing environment and union experience (specifically collective bargaining unit experience) preferred.

  • Experience with a rapid and complex changing work environment. The ability to be comfortable with high volume workload and not be afraid to "roll up your sleeves"
  • Ability to effectively interact with and influence all levels and functions within company, elected officials, non-governmental organizations, and community leaders / representatives.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to deal with crisis and emergency situations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Power Point, Excel and Word).

RESUMEN:

The Technician provides assistance to Technology staff in the testing, analysis, and reporting of new material development in conjunction with product development efforts undertaken in the laboratory,  pilot plant, and production facilities.

  • 1‐5 years’ experience in a laboratory environment.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in math and science, with mechanical or chemical aptitude.
