SUMMARY:

The Controls Engineer is responsible for implementing operations and capital improvement activities related to plant and equipment. This position leads process control and instrumentation upgrades and modifications, ensuring a high level of manufacturing effectiveness.

  • Utilize your background in Electrical Hardware, Automation Systems, and Process Control Systems. Specifically, a high level of proficiency in Allen-Bradley ControlLogix/Compactlogix/SLC 500/PLC 5, PLCs, Kinetix Servo systems, FactorytalkView SE/ME applications, configuring and setting up Powerflex DC/AC VFDs, DeviceNet and ControlNet, Ethernet communications.
  • Support the planning, prioritizing, and reviewing the technical plans for engineering/maintenance of the production and facility equipment including the preparation of project plans, schedules, budgets and proposals.
  • Troubleshoot issues with the Rockwell Systems – SCADA, MES, PLCs, VFDs and Servos, IO and Safety Devices.
  • Be proficient in Software Development - PLC programming, IO Configuration, SCADA/HMI programming and computer communication systems and network protocols – Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet.
  • Prepare system integration plans, system specification, system architecture drawings, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, equipment tag list, configurations, HMI screens, and a bill of materials.
  • Establish schedules and methods for providing services; identifying resource needs; reviewing needs,  allocating resources accordingly, and effectively communicating action plans/repairs.
  • Participate in the development of control policies and procedures and making recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards and procedures.

RESUMEN:

This is a highly visible operations role…in a value-based corporation…that drives a deep heritage of technological advancements.  The role of the Production Manager is to provide leadership to the Paper Machine Team,  monitor the Key Performance Indicator trends, foster good labor relations, and to execute continuous improvement measures that help us to  meet our Annual Operating Plan.  Serves as the Paper Machine Leader to drive capital planning, justification, installation, and startup processes.  Directs and coordinates activities concerned with production of company product(s) by performing the following duties both personally and through Crew Leaders/Shift Supervisor.

  • Ensures adherence to safety regulations, company policy, rules of conduct, governmental regulations, lean initiatives, and good housekeeping procedures.Participates in the development of safety programs and investigations.
  • Ensures that all products are manufactured with the emphasis on quality and strict adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Maintains all ISO & QS requirements. Works closely with the Quality Department and Process Engineer in promoting quality and efficiency improvements.
  • Actively demonstrate adherence to all plant and departmental policies, to recognize and correct behaviors inconsistent with these policies and to work with the crew leaders to demonstrate a zero tolerance to behaviors inconsistent with these policies.

 EDUCACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) from four-year college or university in Pulp and Paper Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Oracle. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills. Must have the ability to handle multiple projects efficiently and effectively.

RESUMEN: 

This position is responsible for the day-to-day safe and efficient operation of the mill by providing leadership, coaching, training and direction necessary to help employees on PM8, PM9, and PM10 to carry out their responsibility of producing a quality product and the safest and most efficient manner.

Hacer llegar los documentos a los expedidores de carga y los departamentos internos que correspondan, por ejemplo el de crédito, para garantizar pagos precisos y entregas puntuales. Procesar pagos con tarjeta de crédito en el caso de pedidos con términos de tarjeta de crédito antes del envío.
  • Avisar al cliente y a ventas sobre pedidos pendientes, discrepancias en el inventario, problemas de calidad y envíos atrasados.

RESUMEN:

Ability to work with a team of highly motivated electrical professionals to install, calibrate, document, and maintain plant distribution and process control systems in a way that provides reliable repairs and installations that are critical to the plant’s operating success. The successful candidate must have the ability to perform all installations and maintenance in a way that insures their own safety and the safety of plant personnel from electrical hazards.

FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES:

  • Develops, promotes, and implements effective communications with all internal customers (manufacturing, shipping, laboratory personnel).
  • Leads, guides and train other electricians in applicable procedures and techniques
  • Installs conduit and wiring per N.E.C. and building codes for new installations of equipment, power systems, and control systems.
  • Connects, tests, and calibrates machinery, controls, and instrumentation as required by the process.
  • Tests, calibrates, diagnoses, and repairs power distribution, machine operation, and instrumentation. Diagnose and repair process system malfunctions.

  • Adheres to general and key job related ISO quality system procedures as defined through company Quality documents.
  • Assists Engineering department when needed.
  • Experience in Fire Alarm systems
  • Monitor solar power generation system performance
  • Lays out and designs electrical circuitry.

EDUCACIÓN Y EXPERIENCIA:

  • Master Electrician License
  • 2 years experience as a Master Electrician in an industrial plant.
  • Experience with MCC’s
  • Demonstrated skills in the installation, calibration and testing of industrial electrical and electronic equipment, including programmable controllers and electronic drives.
  • Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams and blueprints, and the use of mathematics for calculation of electrical installation and trouble shooting.
  • Experience in instrumentation desirable.
  • Must be willing and able to be trained in plants systems to improve needed knowledge.
  • Ability to use PC based software packages, Microsoft Office.
  • Master Electrician License.
